How will my subscription fee be refunded?

We’ll let you keep the free trial as our way of saying thanks for giving us a try if you cancel within 14 days of signing up for a membership. Sadly, we are unable to provide a refund if you have used the service for more than 14 days. This is because billing on Chime is an automated process that starts as soon as you sign up, allowing us to give you an accurate and speedy service. Therefore, after 14 days, all subscription payments have been paid, and we are unable to suspend further charges due to budgetary constraints.

Please take note that the same 14-day cancellation period also applies if you purchased a gift membership for someone else. If your recipient wishes a refund for one of our basic gifts of chime within 7 days of getting their first alarm, just send an email to [email protected] with your order number.

Your account will be promptly terminated if you cancel before the free trial is up and no further charges will be made to your card or iTunes account. Please allow 2 weeks from the date of cancellation for the processing of your payment if you wish to cancel as mentioned above and request a refund.

How do I stop receiving payments from PayPal?

Please visit “Billing & Subscription” in the left-hand menu after logging into your account on our website. To manage your regular payments, go past the section titled “PayPal Subscriptions.” There is a Cancel Account button at the bottom of this page. Clicking it will send you to PayPal’s website, where you can ask for a refund for any subscriptions that have not yet expired from your PayPal account. The above-described refund policy does not apply if you joined Chime more than 14 days ago; nevertheless, canceling using PayPal should still be effective right away.

Please be aware that the same 14-day cancellation period also applies if you purchased a gift membership for someone. However, if your recipient seeks a refund on a basic gift of chime within seven days of getting their initial alert, please email [email protected] with your order number.

Your account will be promptly terminated if you cancel before the free trial has ended and no more charges will be made to your card or PayPal account. Please allow 2 weeks from the date of cancellation for the processing of your payment if you wish to cancel as mentioned above and request a refund.

If you’re using an iPad or iPhone, please tap the “Billing & Subscription” option at the bottom of the home screen of chime. A button marked “Cancel Subscription” will now appear.
