You can permanently disable (also known as remove) your account if you decide to leave IMVU by following a few easy steps. This is how: 1) Visit www.imvu.com’s Account Settings page. Click “Delete my account” in Step 2. 3) Enter your password (4) Verify that this account is permanently disabled by you by checking the box next to it. 5) Press OK. Keep in mind that closing your account will not remove any of your previous purchases, possessions, or material. For this reason, if you anticipate returning in the future, we advise deactivating rather than deleting because doing so preserves all of your data in case you need access in the future (see below for details.). There is a way to challenge a temporary ban placed on your account because of policy violations. Check the box next to “I confirm that this is an appeal for a permanent ban.” 5) Press OK.
